Meet the Management Team
Erik R. Olsen, President & Chief Executive Officer, TBC Corporation
Erik joined TBC in December 2004 as Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer. From 2005 to 2008 the responsibility of President – Carroll Tire Company was added to his role. Olsen was then named President and CEO of TBC Wholesale Group, and was elected to TBC Corporation’s Board of Directors in 2008. In 2013 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer, and in January 2014 he took office as TBC Corporation’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Olsen held various senior management positions with Michelin North America from 1996 to 2004. Prior to joining Michelin, Mr. Olsen held marketing and sales positions of increasing responsibility with Procter & Gamble, The Clorox Company, and Ralston Foods. Mr. Olsen received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Brant Wilson, Director and Senior Vice President, Franchise Group
Brant Wilson was appointed to the position of Director of the Franchisor on Jan. 1, 2014. He was appointed to the position of Senior Vice President, Franchise Group of TBC effective Nov. 1, 2013. From 2007 to Oct. 31, 2013, he was employed by H&R Block and held various positions within that organization including Vice President of Franchise Development and Territory Vice President for the West.
John Kairys, Executive Vice President and General Manager
John joins Big O Tires from Carroll Tire Company where he was the General Manager. John joined Carroll Tire in 2014 after 15 years with Cooper Tire and Rubber Company where he oversaw the development of key accounts and the execution of overall company growth in roles of increasing responsibility, the most recent being Director, Key Account Sales. Prior to Cooper Tire, John held management and leadership positions with Pirelli Tire, as well as NAPA Auto Parts where he served for 11 years in roles such as fleet services specialist, sales manager and general manager.
Timothy J. Miller, Executive Vice President – Finance, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer
Tim Miller joined TBC in September 2000 as the Assistant Treasurer. In August 2002, he was named Vice President and Treasurer, and then elevated to Senior Vice President in 2005. Mr. Miller was elected Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer in October 2006. He also oversees TBC’s Shared Services Group. Mr. Miller held various positions of increasing responsibility within the financial management industry prior to joining TBC. Mr. Miller received his graduate degree from the University of Memphis and an undergraduate degree from Washington State University.
Kimberley L. McBee, Vice President of Marketing & Advertising
McBee has served as our Vice President of Marketing & Advertising since March 2012. She initially became employed with us in September 2008, first as Director of Marketing & Advertising, later being promoted to Senior Director of Marketing & Advertising in July 2010. Prior to serving with us, she served as Vice President of Marketing for Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc., in Denver, CO, from January 2006 to July 2008 after serving as director from 2002 to 2006. Prior to 2002, she was Vice President of Marketing for LeCarniessier, LLC, a franchisee of Red Robin.
James A. Bull, Divisional Vice President of the East Region
Bull has been employed by us since November 2005 as one of our Divisional Vice Presidents. Before, he was Vice President of Retail for Merchants Tire & Auto Centers, and was in Senior Management positions with Western Auto and Advance Auto Parts for more than 20 years.
Richard S. O’Neil, Divisional Vice President of the West Region
O’Neil has been employed by us since February 2009 as our Divisional Vice President of the West Region. Before that, he was Regional Sales Manager – West Coast for QMIEVER-WEAR in Lakeland, FL, from March 2002 to December 2008.
Lenny Valentino, Jr., Vice President of Franchise Development
Mr. Valentino was appointed to this position with TBC effective February 22, 2016. From February 2011 to September 2015 Mr. Valentino was Executive Vice President/Managing Director for EP Henry Corporation, Woodbury, NJ. From September 2005 to December 2009 he was employed by Rita’s Italian Ice Franchise Company, Trevose, Pa in which he held the position of President. Mr. Valentino is a Certified Franchise Executive, recognized by the International Franchise Association. He is located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
